2026 Serbian parliamentary

Overview
Early parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on 25 October 2026 to elect members of the National Assembly. The elections were originally due by December 2027; Aleksandar Vučić, then the president of Serbia, dissolved the National Assembly and called the elections on 9 September 2026, on the proposal of the government. The Student List won the election with an absolute majority of seats, defeating the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), which had been in power since 2012. According to the preliminary results adopted by the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) on 26 October, the Student List won 52.7% of the votes cast and 140 of the 250 seats, while the SNS-led "Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia" list won 39.2% and 104 seats; apart from national minority lists which are exempt from it, no other list crossed the electoral threshold. On 28 October, after the votes cast abroad had been processed, RIK member Ivan Šebek said that the Student List had gained a seat, for a total of 141, while United Serbia had dropped to 103. The final CeSID–Ipsos projection, which excluded polling stations abroad, gave the Student List 141 seats and United Serbia 103. Turnout was around 69%, about ten percentage points higher than in 2023. Vučić conceded defeat on election night.
